Where are my gloves and pill box hat (circa 1960)?
The dress+10, the bolero jacket+9; together +4. By themselves, each piece fits and looks good/cute. however together, they look very matronly and right out of the 60's - only thing missing would be the white gloves and pill box hat to make the look totally from the early to mid 60's era.
Therefore, I paired the dress with a jacket/blazer of my own for work, and paired the bolero with a sleeveless summer dress, now I have two new outfits, instead of one, and now am in the year 2013.

I really liked the dress and the quality. The only thing negative is that it is very short. I would have liked to see the dress just a little longer. I am only five foot one and the dress only barely covered my knee. It seems like most dresses are made for the younger ladies in mind and we seniors would like to see some cute dresses that are just a little longer and are not sleeveless. Just a thought. I may have to go back to sewing my own clothes before long as the trend seems to be toward catering only to the younger crowd.
