Classic
This skirt is so flattering to any figure. The wide waistband creates a nice flow, rather than cutting into the waist and creating " muffin" hips below. I get compliments every time I wear it. ;-)

Great
I bought the matching blazer to this, and, although I had to go down a size in the blazer, I had to go up a size in the skirt due to the lining. I generally have issues with lined bottoms because they have no give, and I tend to carry extra weight on my bottom half. Normally, I would have passed on a skirt like this for that reason, but I was in a pinch and bought one. The first time I wore it, I felt restricted (as I expected), but since I'd already worn the item, I decided to be a bit daring: There is a small thread that attaches the bottom of the lining to the hem of the skirt, and, once I snipped that thread, it made all the difference! I ended up buying one in every available color. For the price, the classic fit, and the easy care, I'm willing to do a very minor alteration.
Please note that I am not encouraging people to buy the item and alter it, because if it doesn't work out, you should never return an altered item to the store!! But if you end up trying on this skirt and it's only a little bit snug due to the lining, this is an easy fix. For me, it was worth it; the price was right, the fit was awesome, and it matched the blazer I'd previously purchased. As I said in my other review, when this item comes in other colors, I will be first in line!
