Party Perfect dresses are available exclusively online and  include a specialized Party Perfect tag. An item is no longer eligible for returns once this tag has been removed. Please make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase before detaching the tag. Returns cannot be accepted once this tag has been removed.

These online exclusive dresses are only returnable to our website. Returns are free. A prepaid return label is included with all Party Perfect dress purchases.


We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from dressbarn.com. If you are not satisfied with an item that you have purchased, you may return the item for a full refund of the purchase price. We gladly accept returns to dressbarn.com or any of our retail stores!

We are happy to accept your dressbarn.com items for return or exchange in any of our dressbarn retail stores. To find the store location nearest you, please visit our store locator page

Returns/Exchanges are accepted within 60 days. Items must be unworn and have price tickets attached. You will be required to provide your name, address, and telephone number on all returns and exchanges. If a discount was applied to the original purchase the return amount will be adjusted accordingly. Cash or credit will be issued based on your original payment tender.
  • Credit Card Tender - A credit will be issued to the Credit Card used on the original purchase.
     
  • Gift Receipt - An exchange, a dressbarn merchandise credit, or a credit to a dressbarn Credit Card will be issued.
     
  • No Receipt - An exchange, a dressbarn merchandise credit, or a credit to a dressbarn Credit Card will be issued for lowest selling price during the past 30 days. Driver's license or State ID required.

If you would like to return items that you have purchased from our web site at dressbarn.com and would prefer to ship your item(s) back to us, please feel free to do so using one of the following return options:

Pre-Paid Return Shipping (Preferred)

For convenient return processing, your packing slip will include a pre-paid, pre-addressed label for your return package. 
  1. To ensure that you will receive a credit for your return, all products must be returned in unworn, unwashed, unaltered condition with price tickets attached.
  2. Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible.
  3. Please include all paperwork and accessories.
  4. Complete the return reason questionnaire on the packing slip. Remove the mailing label portion and include the remainder of the slip in the return package.
  5. Affix the pre-paid label to the package. Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
  6. Send your package via US Mail by giving it to your postal carrier or dropping it at a local post office or mail drop point.
     
    • Please ensure that you are only returning items that were purchased at dressbarn.com. We can not process returns for items that were purchased in our retail stores.
    • No postage is required. The fixed shipping rate of $5.95 will be deducted from your refund. You will not be charged postage until the return is processed.
    • Prepaid shipping labels are automatically added to the packing slip where the order total is greater than $10.00. If the total value of your return is less than $10.00, please refer to the “Standard Return Shipping” return instructions shown below
    • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within 30 days of our receiving the returned order.
    • Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser, minus the pre-paid return fee.
    • Please do not reproduce the pre-paid label in any way, to ensure proper credit processing.
       
  • Standard Return Shipping

    Please ensure that you are only returning items that were purchased at dressbarn.com. We can not process returns for items that were purchased in our retail stores. If your return total is less than $10.00 or you would prefer to use your own shipping method:

    1. To ensure that you will receive a credit for your return, all products must be returned in unworn, unwashed, unaltered condition with price tickets attached.
    2. Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible.
    3. Complete the return reason questionnaire on the packing slip and include it in the return package.
    4. Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.

    • If you are not making use of our prepaid shipping label return option, all return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
    • It is recommended that you use an insured shipping method for your return.
    • Keep the Return Tracking Number for your return package to monitor delivery status.
    • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within 30 days of our receiving the returned order.
    • Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser. Exchanges are available at our retail store locations. If you wish to exchange an item at dressbarn.com, you may return the item(s) and re-order the new item(s) of your choice.

    • We will cover the return shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturing defect or shipping error. To receive the refund for your shipping costs, your items must be returned to dressbarn.com and not one of our retail stores.
